I am writing to apply for a WIPER position that your company has. I am currently a student at Admiral Ushakov Maritime State University. I have a high school diploma in Port Mechanical Engineering with a grade point average of 4.73. Also I have the qualifying certificate of the motorist of the 2nd class. At present time I am studying to become a marine engineer. I have an experience of 6 months on a Bulk Carrier as a cadet. I was on watch, assisted the 3rd and 2nd engineers, and performed the duties of a motorman. I am applying for this position as I have experience of working on ships, I have references from senior officers, I am familiar with the structure of the ship. Performed maintenance of mechanisms, such as separators (purifiers), auxiliary engines, main engine, ballast system, boiler, cooling system. The goal of your company is to provide ships with qualified employees. I want to work, develop, learn new things and communicate with people. I want to become a qualified specialist. I was attracted to your company because of the gas and tanker fleet. These vessels are promising for me.
